Nigerian musician, Portable, has publicly begged music producer, Don Jazzy, for money, following the latter’s N100 million donation to social media activist, Verydarkman’s Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
In a video, Portable aggressively begged for money from Don Jazzy, questioning Verydarkman’s motives for establishing the NGO. He claimed that Verydarkman’s organization was created to serve personal interests rather than genuinely support Nigerians.
Also, Portable referenced an interview where Don Jazzy praised him as an inspiration to his signees, encouraging them to boost their online presence. Additionally, he argued that Don Jazzy should reward him financially, rather than merely using him as a motivational example.
Meanwhile, this public plea comes after Don Jazzy’s generous donation to Verydarkman’s NGO, which aims to improve education in public schools. Portable’s request has sparked mixed reactions online. While some criticized his audacity, others found his honesty entertaining.
Lastly, celebrities like Zlatan and Tiwa Savage have also reached out to Don Jazzy, seeking financial assistance.
