Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, popularly known as Portable, has shown appreciation to his longtime music producer, Upondeebeatz, by gifting him a car and a bundle of cash.
The producer, who has been instrumental in crafting many of Portable‘s hit songs, shared a video of the moment on Instagram on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
In the video, Portable handed over the car keys and cash to Upondeebeatz, expressing gratitude for his dedication and late-night efforts to produce quality music. The Tony Montana crooner, who was recently released from police custody, remarked on how those who once mocked him are now congratulating him, emphasizing that there is always glory after a battle.
This act of generosity comes shortly after Portable’s arrest over a dispute with a car dealer, showcasing a triumphant turnaround for the controversial artist.
