Fresh out on bail, Nigerian singer Portable has issued a fiery warning to online critics, threatening legal action against anyone who defames him on social media.
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to social media users, threatening to arrest anyone who defames him, either verbally or in comment sections online.
This development comes just days after Portable was released on bail following his arrest over a defamation lawsuit filed by Fuji icon Saheed Osupa. The street-hop artist had earlier been remanded after failing to meet bail conditions but was granted release on Monday, April 14, 2025, at a court hearing in Kwara State.
His lawyer, Isaac Adebayo, confirmed that the court approved the bail after an oral application. However, shortly after regaining freedom, Portable took to social media with a defiant message.
In a new video shared online, the Zeh Nation king warned Nigerians against making defamatory statements about him. He stressed that he would not hesitate to involve the police in arresting anyone found guilty of tarnishing his image, particularly in social media comment sections.
The singer’s latest outburst highlights his ongoing battle with online critics and reinforces his zero-tolerance stance on cyberbullying and defamation.
