
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to stay out of trouble following his recent legal tussle with the Ogun State government.
The singer’s statement comes just hours after he was granted bail of ₦2 million in connection with allegations of assaulting government officials at his bar. Portable, who had previously been declared wanted, voluntarily surrendered to authorities and faced legal proceedings before regaining his freedom.
Following his release, the Zazu Zeh crooner took to social media to express his gratitude and reaffirm his commitment to focusing on his music and financial growth. Sharing a music video, he wrote: “Alhamdulilahi for everything ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God.”
Known for his outspoken nature and frequent clashes with law enforcement, Portable’s declaration of a trouble-free path has sparked mixed reactions among fans. While some commend his resolve to embrace a more cautious approach, others remain skeptical, given his history of controversies.
