Ahead of the 2025/26 season Premier League TV coverage will feature touchline interviews with substituted players for the first time starting from the new campaign.
The camera operators will also be allowed to enter the field of play to capture close-up footage of goal celebrations and will be granted access to the changing rooms.
The Premier League announced in December 2023 the new TV rights deal in the UK worth a record £6.7billion, which will see Sky Sports broadcast 215 top-flight matches per season, commencing from 2025-26, while TNT Sports remain with exclusive coverage of 52 matches per season.
Cameras will also be allowed in changing rooms but under certain restrictions, which include never when the manager is delivering team talks. However teams like Manchester City and Arsenal might not allow full access into their dressing room because these footages are already contracted to some media houses.
