The Premier League in an official statement have confirmed the manager of the month after a long run of games for March 2024.
Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth has been named as March 2024’s Barclays Manager of the Month after leading his club side on an impressive run of four unbeaten games which consisted of three wins and two draws in the Premier League.
Iraola’s side won 2-0 against Burnley and secured home victories over Luton Town and Everton. However, their match against Luton Town was particularly spectacular. The team was trailing 3-0, but they made an incredible comeback to win the game 4-3. This feat was significant as it was the first time in 21 years that a Premier League team had managed to overcome such a deficit to win a match.
Speaking on his receiving the award Iraola stated, “This award is for the whole club. I’m the one in charge but we have had a good run of results in March. The ones that probably deserve it more are the players because they are the ones that give us the chance to be successful and get the results. Luton was a special game. We have had a few games where we were close to not winning them and scored late.”
