FC Barcelona’s squad for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against PSG has been announced by Xavi.
The mission of FC Barcelona on Wednesday at 21:00 hours is to have the best possible match against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals. This is the first time in four years that the team has reached this stage of the tournament, having defeated Napoli in the previous round.
However, the offensive challenge posed by Paris Saint-Germain will be much greater than that of their previous opponent. It has also been revealed that Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will also travel with the team, but their fitness for the match is still uncertain making them a doubt for the must-win fixture. Gavi, who is also recovering from a serious knee injury, will also accompany his teammates to Paris.
