Rema is taking the music world by storm with his new achievement at the 2024 ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
London on da Track helped collect the award for Song of the Year for Calm Down at the awards. This is no surprise as Calm Down had previously topped Billboard Pop, Adult Pop and Rhythmic Airplay charts and also hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Since the release of Calm Down in August 2022, Rema has continued the growth of Afrobeat‘s new generation with the Ravage EP and his collaboration on Soweto with Don Toliver and Temple. Rema has been on some sort of hiatus, and we expect a collaboration between him and Shallipopi soon.
