Rema, Asake and Omah Lay’s songs make it unto Virgil van Dijk’s top 5 tracks

Liverpool footballer Virgil van Dijk has listed three Afrobeats songs among his top five tracks, stating that they significantly influence his mood and contribute to his success on the football pitch. Van Dijk also emphasized that these songs provide him with positive energy and vibes.

Ahead of the upcoming Carabao Cup final against Premier League rival Chelsea, Van Dijk disclosed his fondness for Afrobeats during an interview with EFL. The renowned Dutch defender named Rema, Asake, and Omah Lay’s songs among his top five favorite tracks. The highly anticipated Carabao Cup final is scheduled for February 26, 2024, at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. Van Dijk revealed that Omah Lay’s Holy Ghost, Mase’s Feel So Good, and Notorious B.I.G’s More Money More Problems rank as his top three favorite tracks.
