In an emotional plea that has taken social media by storm, Rose Idibia, the mother of renowned Nigerian singer 2Baba, called Edo lawmaker Natasha Osaworu to release her son from what she describes as an unhealthy situation.
In a heartfelt video message, Rose begged Nigerians for help and directly addressed Natasha, urging her to “remove the beads you placed on his hands and neck.” She expressed deep concern for her son’s well-being, stating that his ongoing divorce from his wife Annie Idibia has left him mentally unstable.
“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him,” Rose tearfully stated. “Please Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and neck, remove them and free him.”
Rose’s urgent appeal comes just a day after 2Baba publicly proposed to Natasha Osaworu, sparking widespread attention. In a viral video, the singer was seen presenting Natasha with a ring and sharing an intimate embrace, confirming their relationship. Despite the emotional video, 2Baba has firmly defended Natasha, calling her a “young, brilliant, and amazing woman” and denying any wrongdoing in his marriage’s breakdown.
The singer also addressed public backlash, refuting claims that Natasha had any involvement in his ongoing divorce from Annie, which he revealed had been in the works for some time.
