On March 11, 2024, Nigerian record producer Rexxie was reportedly detained in Uganda. The Grammy Certified producer shared his gratitude towards Davido who had some words of encouragement for him during his incarceration.

Ezeh Chisom Faith, widely known as Rexxie, a Nigerian record producer and singer, revealed through his Instagram account on Monday morning that Ugandan Immigration detained him. Despite describing his arrest as “unfair,” he didn’t specify the reasons behind it.

Rexxie reached out for support from his followers, urging them to advocate for his release. Via his Instagram, he wrote, “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan Immigration. Pls I need help”. On the same day, he wrote via his Instagram story to thank Davido who had reached out to him during the entire ordeal. Rexxie tagged Davido as being different. He wrote, “@davido 001. Your message gave me rest of mind! You’re different”.
