Ruben Amorim has given Manchester United’s supporter an update on the availability of Marcus Rashford ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool.
Ruben Amorim who has not recorded a lot of victories since he joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Liverpool at Anfield. Marcus Rashford has not featured for the Red Devils since mid-December in 2024 after he confirmed in an interview that he was open to another challenge out of United.
What did Ruben Amorim say about Marcus Rashford?
He said,
“Marcus is ill and is not training. I think he’s going to be out. The situation is still the same, he’s like all the other players”
Rashford has been in poor form for the past two seasons after he signed a contract extension at Manchester United but has failed to replicate the same performance he showed three seasons ago when he scored 30 goals across all competitions.
Manchester United supporters will be hoping that the new year brings victory their way when they face Liverpool on Sunday, January 4, 2025, after which they will face Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup.
