
Ruud van Nistelrooy has left his role as the head coach of Leicester City, nine weeks after the Foxes were relegated from the Premier League.
The former Manchester United player oversaw the foxes to 19 defeats having managed just five wins and three draws from his 27 matches in charge of Leeicester. The former Premier League Champion were relegated with five matches left in the season.

The foxes were relegated from their 1-0 defeat by Liverpool on April 20, 2025, which condemned Van Nistelrooy’s side to the drop, meaning that Leicester became the first team in English top-flight history to lose nine successive home games without scoring.
