Liverpool’s midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch has been named the 2024/25 young player of the season, gaining recognition following his major role in Liverpool’s Premier League title win.
The 23-year-old is one of the best midfielders in the just-concluded Premier League season. He ranks second for passes and third for duels, tackles made and minutes played with four assists, contributing in all areas of Liverpool’s title-winning season.
He was named winner of the award after votes from the public were combined with those from a panel of football experts to determine the best player who started the season aged 23 or under.
He beat fellow nominees Liam Delap, Anthony Elanga, Dean Huijsen, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers and William Saliba. He is the second Liverpool player to win the award since it was introduced in 2019/20, following Trent Alexander-Arnold.
