A show promoter by the name of Tunde Babalola has laid what many have chosen to categorise as strong and shocking allegations against Asake.
Nigerian singer Asake’s Lungu Boy World Tour has been a significant highlight of his career, promoting his third studio album, Lungu Boy, released on August 9, 2024. The album features collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Travis Scott, Stormzy, Central Cee, and Ludmilla.
Recently, discussions have emerged on social media regarding the Lungu Boy tour’s organization as an individual by the name of Tunde Babalola who identified himself as a former team member of Asake has asserted that his team were instrumental in making the Lungu Boy World Tour a reality and a success.
This claim has sparked conversations among fans and industry observers about the behind-the-scenes efforts that contribute to such large-scale events.
He had taken to his Instagram page to say: “shoutout to me for single handed made sure this the European leg of this tour was completed against all odds. Keyword single handed ME you would be a slave to Live Nation Period but for me. Thanks for my plague @livenation @creativeartistagency”.
He went on to say: “we are going to stick to verifiable facts no hate around here. You can’t sack boss for all non the wiser gang. I’m a boss being boss before he made a dime. The issue is his a pathological liar and user and we are holding him accountable thats all it is”.
As of now, Asake and his management have not publicly addressed these claims.
