Skepta, Idris Elba and Odumodublcvk will be releasing a new single this Friday 19th January 2024.
Skepta had announced in December that he would be releasing a new album ‘Knife and Fork’, a new single ‘Gas me up’ as well as his first directorial debut. The Nigerian-British Rapper had announced the release date for his first directorial debut.
Skepta has now disclosed that his movie, “Tribal Mark”, is set to premiere on January 26 at Everyman Cinema. The song titled ‘JANGROVA’ will feature British rapper and actor Idris Elba and Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck.
‘Tribal Mark’ portrays the poignant journey of a Nigerian immigrant adapting to life in a foreign country. Additionally, the storyline delves into the realm of an undercover Black Secret Service. The cast includes a diverse group of emerging Black actors, with Jude Carmichael taking on the role of the film’s protagonist, Young Mark.

Idris Elba has demonstrated both his versatility as an actor and his commitment to his community. Idris Elba set up a protest to immediately ban the sale of so-called “zombie” knives and machetes, to reduce the number of young people losing their lives. A visible protest was taken on where clothes were laid out to represent those killed by knives on UK streets.
In the last week, Odumodublcvk has been spotted with various Powerhouse musicians and rumored possible collaborations. The Declan rice crooner has teased collaborations with Davido, Tiwa savage and Wurld.
