Global streaming platform Spotify has released its Top 30 Most Streamed Nigerian Songs Globally for the first half of 2025, spotlighting the biggest Afrobeats hits and a few surprises that captivated international audiences.
Rema leads Spotify’s 2025 chart with his global hit ‘Baby (Is It a Crime)’, a hit track released in February that samples Sade Adu’s classic. Close behind is Shallipopi’s viral single ‘Laho’, while Davido’s melodic collaboration with Omah Lay, ‘With You’, takes the third spot.
Though Rema claimed No. 1, Davido dominated the list overall, with nine songs from his ‘5ive’ album making the cut more than any other artist. Burna Boy followed with five entries, including ‘TaTaTa’ featuring Travis Scott. Notably, gospel artist Lawrence Oyor broke into the largely Afrobeats chart at No. 17 with ‘Favour’, a rare gospel entry that went viral earlier this year.
