Rapper T.I. has filed a defamation lawsuit against Sabrina Peterson, more than three years after she made explosive allegations against him, including a claim that he once held a gun to her head.
In newly obtained court documents, T.I. accuses Peterson of waging a campaign of harassment and defamation against him and his family. The rapper says their friendship ended because Peterson was not a “positive” influence in their lives, a decision he claims led her to retaliate with baseless accusations.
T.I. alleges Peterson became fixated on him and his family after the fallout, using social media to post what he describes as “false” and “malicious” statements. The rapper contends her actions have caused harm to him and his loved ones.
In his lawsuit, T.I. claims Peterson has a pattern of targeting others with similar behavior, noting that some individuals have reportedly sought legal protection against her in the past. He is seeking unspecified damages for the distress he says her allegations have caused.
This latest development is part of a long-standing legal feud between the two. In 2021, Peterson sued T.I. and his wife, Tiny, for defamation, accusing them of tarnishing her reputation after she alleged that he held a gun to her head. Peterson also suggested the couple had engaged in drugging and sexually abusing women, claims T.I. and Tiny vehemently denied.
At the time, the couple’s attorney dismissed the allegations, calling them part of a “sordid shakedown campaign.”
According to TMZ, efforts to reach out to Peterson for comments have been unsuccessful.
