Anita Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha, has officially fulfilled her promise to remove a tattoo of Nigerian music sensation Davido from her chest, marking the end of a highly publicized feud between the two stars.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate, who rose to fame through the reality TV show, had previously vowed to erase the tattoo after a fallout with the Afrobeats icon in late 2023. The tattoo, which featured a likeness of Davido’s face, had been a visible symbol of her admiration for the singer. However, their relationship soured following a series of online clashes.

The drama began when Tacha took issue with Davido liking a tweet that appeared to shade fellow reality TV star Phyna. Despite Davido issuing an apology for his actions, Tacha dismissed it as insincere and fake. The tension escalated when Davido then liked another tweet subtly targeting Tacha, prompting a fierce response from her. She criticized him for setting Phyna up for more public ridicule with his apology.

Amid their escalating war of words, a troll predicted that Tacha’s career would suffer as a result of going up against a major star like Davido. Unfazed, Tacha responded by reminding the troll that her career had not ended in 2019 after she was disqualified from BBNaija, asserting that her clash with Davido would be no different.

The feud flared up again when Tacha publicly supported Tiwa Savage during her own clash with Davido. Tacha accused the singer of having a “God-complex” and criticized his behavior, further fueling their online animosity. In retaliation, Davido liked a tweet mocking Tacha, and she shot back by calling him a bully and pointing out the irony of his actions, especially in light of his public support for Mohbad’s memorial event.

Now, true to her word, Tacha has gone ahead with the tattoo removal, documenting the entire process in a video shared on social media. In the footage, Tacha is seen undergoing the laser procedure to erase the ink, with the final result showing her chest free of the tattoo.
