Following days and months of speculation as well as anticipation, Tems has confirmed when her second album will be released.
Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and global sensation Tems gave fans the news they’ve been waiting for regarding her second studio album at a recent show in London.
“I’ll release an album next year. Trust me, there’s music coming,” she told the cheering crowd, confirming that her long-awaited debut album will finally arrive in 2026.
Tems has steadily risen to international acclaim with her soulful voice, introspective lyrics, and genre-defying sound.
From early hits like Try Me to her Grammy-winning collaboration Wait For U with Future and Drake, she has proven her ability to deliver music that resonates across cultures.
Tems has already proven herself a force in the global music scene. Her debut EP, For Broken Ears (2020), introduced a raw, soulful voice and vulnerable songwriting style that quickly earned her international attention.
In 2024, she followed up with her debut album, Born in the Wild, a more expansive and sonically bold body of work that cemented her place as a genre-defying artist.
Her announcement in London felt personal and intentional. It wasn’t just a vague tease, it was a promise. And coming from an artist known for her authenticity and creative control, it carries real weight.
