EP For Broken Ears Released in September 2020, introduced the world to Tems’ unique blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and soulful melodies. The EP features standout tracks like “Damages” and “Free Mind,” which have contributed significantly to its enduring popularity. Tems’ rise to prominence has been further bolstered by collaborations with international artists, including Wizkid and Drake, solidifying her status as a global music sensation.

Beyond her streaming success, Tems has also achieved significant recognition on the global music stage. In 2023, she won her first Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for her collaboration with Future and Drake on the track “Wait for U,” making her the first Nigerian female artist to receive a Grammy. Building on this success, she secured her second Grammy in 2025, winning the Best African Music Performance category for her song “Love Me Jeje.” This accomplishment distinguishes her as the only Nigerian artist with multiple Grammy Awards, underscoring her significant impact and contribution to the global music scene.

These accolades highlight Tems’ exceptional talent and the growing international recognition of African music and female artists, further cementing her legacy as a trailblazer in the industry.
