Coachella Valley and Arts Festival, one of the most renowned music festivals, has unveiled its highly anticipated lineup for the 2024 edition, featuring three prominent Afrobeats artists, Tems, Tyla, and Spinall.
On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the festival organisers officially released the names of all the talented artists bound for the desert stage, with big names including Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat. However, these headliners have appeared at the festival in the past.
For Afrobeats artists Tems, Tyla and Spinall, this marks the inaugural appearance of these talented Afrobeats musicians at Coachella, a significant milestone that showcases the global recognition and influence of the genre.
The festival, which is North America’s largest and known for its star-studded roster, will take place over two weekends on April 12-14 and April 19-21 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
With all 125,000-day tickets already sold, the anticipation for the historic performances by Tems, Tyla, and Spinall adds an extra layer of excitement to Coachella’s 23rd instalment. Three-day passes for the festival will be available during Coachella’s pre-sale starting Friday at 11 am PT.
