A viral video has emerged of Nigerian music star Awosika Olayemi Josiah, popularly known as Fido, abruptly ending his concert in Kenya following a tense confrontation with an unidentified man on stage.

The dramatic incident, which unfolded in front of a stunned audience at his Kenya concert, saw Fido caught in a heated exchange with the man, whose role at the event remains unclear. Witnesses at the scene claim the individual, believed to be either a security official or a member of the event’s organising team, appeared visibly agitated, repeatedly warning the singer against any form of “disrespect.”

In an unexpected turn, Fido, who made headlines earlier this year after collaborating with Afrobeats heavyweight Wizkid, attempted to de-escalate the situation by kneeling before the man, pleading for a resolution in a bid to keep the show going.

Despite his efforts to calm tensions, the man reportedly refused to relent, prompting a visibly frustrated Fido to walk off the stage, leaving fans bewildered and disappointed.

Although the cause of the disagreement remains unknown, clips of the incident have since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread reactions and debates among fans over the artist’s handling of the confrontation and the event organizers’ conduct.
