Head coach Thomas Tuchel has spoken on Bayern Munich suffering their 3rd defeat in a row in all competitions under his leadership.

Thomas Tuchel in a post-match press conference has spoken about Bayern Munich suffering their third defeat in a row and how this affects his role as the head coach of the side amidst speculations of his role being under scrutiny at the club.

Speaking on the possibility of Thomas Tuchel being sacked by Bayern Munich’s board, Dreesen said: “It was clear that this question was coming, it had been looming for some time. I don’t believe in these monstrous statements of support for coaches. I’ve already said something about this, but it’s not a question that arises for us today. We have to concentrate on the next games.”

“I know how you want to hear it. I can say it that way too. But these vows of loyalty are usually over after a week, so I say it in my own way. I’ve said before – and I’ll even repeat myself – that’s not an issue we’re currently dealing with.”

Thomas Tuchel revealed that things are currently not working in the team’s favour regardless of how well they have played so far. He stated, “The defeat was not fair today, a lot went against us. We had an xG value of 3.4 and we had four, five, six top-class chances. We completely dominated the game and actually went behind out of nowhere. If we play this game five more times, we’d win it five times. I don’t blame the players today”.
