Popular musician, Timaya has publicly admonished a member of his team for using his social media handle to comment on the ongoing music industry beef without authorization.
Recently, tensions have escalated between top music artists, with Davido and Wizkid engaging in heated exchanges, and Tekno and Kizz Daniel also clashing online.
A tweet posted from Timaya’s account, commenting on the industry wars, caught the attention of fans. However, Timaya swiftly clarified that he was not the author of the tweet, attributing it to a member of his team.
Expressing his displeasure, Timaya took to social media (Instagram) today, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to condemn the individual, identified as Bolaji Fadipe, for overstepping boundaries and involving him in other people’s business without consent.
In a strongly worded message, Timaya rebuked Fadipe for disregarding previous warnings and emphasized the importance of respecting boundaries, despite being part of his team.
“I have warned you severely but you wouldn’t listen. Y’all know I mind my business but this guy doesn’t listen because you work with my team and have access doesn’t mean you should put me in other people’s business,” Timaya stated.
He concluded by advising Fadipe to seek recognition on his own merits rather than attempting to exploit Timaya’s platform for personal gain.
