Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham ahead of the 2025/2026 season has been decided by the owners of the club according to new reports.

Fresh reports have indicated that Tottenham Hotspur have made their decision regarding the future of the current manager Ange Postecoglou at the club ahead of a new season.

Ange Postecoglou’s tenure as Tottenham Hotspur manager appears to be shaky as things stand with the final five games of the season gradually approaching. Following a 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest, Spurs sit 16th in the Premier League, intensifying the scrutiny on the Australian coach.

The defeat marked Tottenham’s 18th league loss of the season, placing them just one short of their worst-ever tally in the competition. Despite their struggles, Postecoglou remains in charge as Spurs continue their Europa League campaign, with a crucial semi-final clash against Bodo/Glimt on May 1.

However, behind the scenes, key figures within the club are already weighing their options for the future. Chairman Daniel Levy is preparing for a pivotal summer transfer window, and the team’s persistent inconsistency under Postecoglou is cause for concern.

While Postecoglou remains defiant in defense of his philosophy, his future remains uncertain. His close ally, chief football officer Scott Munn, is reportedly set to depart in the summer, further complicating his position at the club.

Possible replacements for Ange Postecoglou revealed

According to The Mirror UK, Tottenham is already exploring alternative managerial candidates in case Postecoglou is dismissed. Fulham’s Marco Silva has been identified as a potential successor, while Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola is also admired, though he is expected to remain at his current club.

Additionally, technical director Johan Lange is reportedly interested in Brentford’s Thomas Frank, suggesting that Spurs may be looking for a fresh approach to revitalize the squad.

Despite Postecoglou’s unwavering commitment to his vision, the growing belief within Tottenham is that significant changes are on the horizon, with a managerial shake-up seeming increasingly likely.
