Popular Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson ,is very upset after a young actor, Ola Lawal , died while working on a movie. The sad incident happened while the movie was being directed by Bola Akande.

On Monday, June 9, 2025, Adeniyi shared his feelings on Instagram. He said that while he doesn’t blame Bola Akande for Ola’s death, he believes she should speak up and tell her side of the story. He also wants her to show care and support to Ola’s family during this painful time.

Adeniyi said Ola’s father feels very hurt. He said the family was asked for Ola’s brother’s account number shortly after he died, which made it feel like Ola’s life was not respected.

Adeniyi also mentioned that only one person, Segun Okeowo , has shown real concern and reached out to the family.

In his words:

“We’re very sad about Ola’s death. Bola Akande hasn’t said anything about what happened. We’re not saying it’s her fault, but we want her to speak and help the family. The father is not happy with how everything has been handled.”

Adeniyi and other Nollywood actors are now asking for justice for Ola and a proper burial to honor him. They say they won’t stop until someone is held responsible and the family is treated with respect.
