South African duo TitoM and Yuppe are making history for their country with their song Tshwala Bam featuring S.N.E and EeQue for the first time in 3 years.

The song is celebrated for reaching the number one spot on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Songs chart. This achievement marks a significant moment for South African music, as it’s the first song from the country to top the chart in three years.

The last time a South African song held the top position was in 2021 with Ke Star (Remix) by Focalistic featuring Nigerian superstar Davido. Notably, Tshwala Bam achieves this feat without any Nigerian artists on the track, making it an even more impressive accomplishment.

For the 1st time in 3 years the #1 song on Nigeria Apple Music Top Songs chart is a South African 🇿🇦 song.

This news signifies a potential resurgence of South African music in the Nigerian market, with Tshwala Bam capturing the hearts of Nigerian listeners. It will be interesting to see if TitoM and Yuppe can maintain their top spot in the Nigerian music market.
