Tyla will perform at the Roots Picnic festival

Grammy Award winner Tyla has been selected to perform at the Roots Picnic festival.

The South African singer will be performing at the 2024 edition of the Roots Picnic festival. The 2024 edition of the Roots Picnic is returning to Philadelphia, set to take place at The Mann in Fairmount Park. The festival will take place from June 1 to 2, 2024. This two-day festival boasts a stellar lineup of R&B, soul, and hip-hop acts. Headlining the event will be Lil Wayne and The Roots, honoring the rap legend’s hometown, New Orleans.

Joining them on stage will be PJ Morton and Trombone Shorty. Tyla will be joining first-timer Grammy Winner Victoria Monét and Leon Thomas. The lineup for the 2024 Roots Picnic also features performances by Babyface, André 3000, Sexxy Red, Gunna, Robert Glasper & Yebba, Marsha Ambrosius, Kenya Vaun, and many other talented artists.

In addition to her upcoming performance, Tyla has also added two new songs to her self-titled upcoming album, Tyla. Via her Instagram broadcast channel, she told fans that two songs have been added. The South African singer revealed the titles to be Safer and Intro. The Grammy Winner has also announced her first tour in the United Kingdom, United States, and Europe.
