Road trip stops
Our adventure began with a picturesque drive along the coast. The usual tourist pit stops at Mac Banana and The Waffle House in Ramsgate are a must. Your GPS will want to take you along the N2 highway but take the road less travelled. Drive along the R103 undeniably the best coastal ambience. complete with a few potholes along the way of course.
The spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and the resort’s beautiful 750-hectare expanse of natural bush caught our attention from the moment we stepped into our room.
Wild Coast Sun Resort Activities
The resort provides a wide range of activities to satisfy every taste. Adrenaline junkies can enjoy the heart-pounding thrills of Wild Waves Water Park, while golfers can tee off on the challenging course. The Mangwanani Spa provides a serene refuge for those seeking relaxation.
The best time to go is during the summer when you can take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities. The outdoor pool area is equipped with comfortable loungers to soak up the sun and guest towels are provided. Alternatively, if the weather is not too good there are a few fun things to do inside the resort.
A hot stone massage at Mangwanani Spa was rejuvenating. In full holiday mode, we found ourselves sipping on refreshing Mojito cocktails at Maltos restaurant, overlooking the indoor pool. This was followed by dinner at the Chicos Buffet and a competitive round of tenpin bowling. It was the perfect end to a day filled with adventure.
