Rapper Young Thug, legally known as Jeffrey Williams, has been released from prison after securing a plea deal in his high-profile racketeering trial.
Young Thug was initially taken into custody in May 2022 on charges connected to racketeering and gang-related activities, alongside multiple members of his YSL Records label. According to The New York Times, Rapper Young Thug was released on Thursday as part of a plea agreement, which mandates a 15-year probation period. During this probation, Young Thug must complete 100 hours of community service and deliver four anti-gang talks to children each year.
