Coming off a critically acclaimed successful Album, Victony has decided to tease new music for fans.
The superstar fresh off a world tour took to his social media handles to tease a forthcoming collaboration with African music producer Juls. The mid tempo record has a heavy influence of the signature Juls sound and the writing relies heavily on Yoruba. Victony is his usual airy, interesting self on this record, serenading listeners with his top level delivery.
Late last week, another snippet was made public from Victony’s camp. The record, titled Fall is one where he reflected on himself. Centered about falling on his knees and talking to God, he spoke about a lot of personal issues. He also addressed the issue that happened on Rema’s tour, accusing people of intentionally cutting his mic when he performed at the O2 arena.
His debut album Stubborn has gone on to be a fan favourite, and has been declared by many as the best album this year. The album which he dedicated to Olamide has done arguably well, taking Victony on tour and churning out hits like Stubborn and Ludo.
With the snippets now surfacing on the internet, it would be safe to say we should expect new music from the self declared “Ebelebe” soon. It would also be okay to assume it’s a project, since we’re getting snippets of different songs.
We do hope we’re being served with good music soon, as everything heard so far sounds like a breath of fresh air.
