Victor Osimhen has reacted to the German Bundesliga win for Bayer Leverkusen and Victor Boniface as well.
Following Victor Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen’s historical German Bundesliga win, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in a recent post reacted to the Nigerian footballer’s achievement with the club.
Victor Boniface was part of the Bayer Leverkusen team that made history by winning the Diesterman Chale. On April 15, 2024, Bayer Leverkusen beat Werder Bremen with a score of five-nil, securing their unbeaten record for the season. Boniface joined the German team in the summer of 2023 and had been one of the team’s top goal scorers until he suffered an injury.
Following the huge win, Boniface expressed his gratitude to Victor Osimhen on his Insta-story for his support and motivation. He revealed that Osimhen had called him a year earlier to say that he was the next Nigerian player to win the Bundesliga. This message was sent by Osimhen shortly after he had helped Napoli win the scudetto for the first time in almost 40 years.
Boniface’s post on Instagram attracted a direct response from Victor Osimhen who reposted and also congratulated the forward on winning the Bundesliga with his team.
