King of Afrobeat Davido featured Real Madrid football players in his newly released Away music video.
Nigerian music sensation Davido has released the music video for his hit track Away. The video showcases appearances from Real Madrid players including Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, and Toni Rudiger. He also featured Memphis Depay and David Alaba. Davido took to social media to excite fans with the long-awaited unveiling of the video on Tuesday. Away is the third music video from Davido’s fourth studio album, Timeless.

In addition to the release of Away Davido has also announced the completion of his fifth studio album. He said this during his live stream session with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat. During their live meetup, Davido revealed that his new album is finished. He also revealed that it consists of 15 songs and has six artist features. He said during the live stream, “The same way streaming is your work, recording is also my work. 15 songs and six features are on the next record. It’s going to be crazy”.
Davido won the category for Outstanding Duo during the virtual NAACP Image Awards. Davido and Lojay were recognized for their feature on Chris Brown’s Sensational. The award ceremony was held on March 11, 2024.
