Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk beats British boxer, Tyson Fury in a split decision to become the undisputed Champion of the World.
The fight which was held in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 18, 2024, saw Tyson Fury suffer his first defeat in 16 years which came from the gloves of Oleksandr Usyk. As both boxers tensely waited for the results to be read out, Fury was convinced of victory but was left shocked when Usyk confirmed as the winner of the fight.

The British boxer was left disappointed with the result of the judges but believed there was foul play in the overall outcome of the scores.

“I believe he won a few of the rounds, but I won the majority, his country is at war, so people are siding with the country at war. Make no mistake, I won that fight in my opinion. It was one of the daftest decisions in boxing. I’ll be back.”
