Kanye West has once again sparked controversy with a series of fiery posts aimed at fellow celebrities, including Jay-Z, his former in-laws the Kardashians, and even global brands he once collaborated with. The 47-year-old rapper, known for his unpredictable online outbursts, took to social media on Wednesday to air his grievances, revealing deep personal hurt and frustration.
In a series of posts, West launched a scathing attack on Jay-Z and his family, making accusations about their lack of support during significant personal moments. He questioned the mental capacity of Jay-Z’s children and expressed disappointment in how the family had treated him, including during his tumultuous divorce from Kim Kardashian.
But it didn’t stop there. The 24-time Grammy winner released a lengthy list of individuals and entities he claims have betrayed him over the years. The list included not only his celebrity colleagues, such as John Legend, Big Sean, and Kid Cudi but also major brands like Adidas and Balenciaga, with whom he had previously formed high-profile partnerships.
“I am in pain that no one person can fix. The betrayal. Virgil, John Legend, Kim, Trav, Carti, Big Sean, Jay Z, Ty, Tyler, Durk, Common, Cudi, Pusha, Don C, Amber, The Kardashians, Adidas, Demna / Balenciaga,” West wrote,
His most intense comments were reserved for Jay-Z, with whom he has had a complicated relationship for years. West accused the music mogul and his wife, Beyoncé, of failing to support him in key moments, including his wedding to Kim Kardashian. He also expressed frustration over Jay-Z’s alleged role in choosing Kendrick Lamar for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show over him.
“I love Jay Z, and I do feel bad. I always felt like the black sheep, like I wanted family in this music shit,” West confessed in another post. “How not coming to my first wedding, him putting Kendrick on the Super Bowl over me, never being invited to anything, taking jabs about my red hat on Donda—I felt like both him and his wife could have helped me have more leverage with my kids.”
The rapper also claimed that the powerful couple could have used their cultural influence to protect him from what he viewed as a campaign to “run him over” by the Kardashians. “It’s just hurtful. So fk both of them, because when I needed them, it was fk me,” West declared.
