Rising Kent-based star Livvy Lauren and acclaimed Northampton singer-songwriter Maddox Jones have just released their new single, “Another Sad Song”, a piece that’ll hit you right in the feels. This duet is anything but another forgettable single, it’s a raw, honest look at life’s ups and downs that’ll make you want to sing along.

Co-written with Tim Gosden and Becky Smith, Another Sad Song blends Livvy and Maddox’s vocals to create a harmonious performance filled with raw emotion. The track reflects on the struggles of daily life, capturing a universal message of perseverance and hope.

Livvy’s not new to turning pain into art., she has been immersed in music since childhood, turning her passion into a therapeutic outlet to navigate challenges with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Drawing influence from legends like Aretha Franklin, Livvy has developed a unique sound that incorporates elements of soul, jazz, and classical music.

Her recent single, Felt Love, recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios with renowned producer Jungle Boi (Zayn, R3hab, Shy FX, Lily Allen) combines drum and bass, house, and R&B. Featured on Love Island, the track has further cemented Livvy as a rising star in the UK music scene. With comparisons to dynamic artists like Tate McRae and Doja Cat, Livvy’s magnetic stage presence and genre-defying artistry are propelling her toward the forefront of the pop landscape.

Maddox Jones is a seasoned artist with a string of accomplishments under his belt. Named Songwriter of the Year at the Northamptonshire Local Music Awards, Maddox has collaborated with a host of artists, including Billy Locket and Janet Devlin, and is preparing to release his sophomore album, Waiting for the World to Turn, on November 1st.

Maddox’s live performances have also earned him some accolades, with upcoming tour dates supporting Will Young and recent appearances alongside Mae Stephens and Kenny Thomas. His debut EP, Headspace, reached #4 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart, and his singles have climbed both UK radio and club charts, making him one of the most exciting talents in British pop.
