Hey, what’s up?
This is Mr.Baba D.
Right now, I just want to make a quick observation about NBC banning Idris Abdul Karim’s song Tell Your Papa, right?First and foremost, I’d like to say that was really, really, really fast because the NBC normally responds after the song is played out. That’s what they do normally.
They wait till everybody has heard the song before, but this one came rather swiftly, stopping, stopping the music just one week after it was released.
Alright, but let me tell you something. What you’ve successfully done is create awareness for the song. You have opened the floodgate of awareness for the song because, right now, it’s gonna be on TikTok, it’s gonna be on Instagram, it’s gonna be everybody playing the music.
Well, what I’ll say is that. We have to be able to accept criticism as humans. The critics are part of society. What the young man has done is reflect and say what a lot of people are hiding and keeping in their hearts.
So I don’t think NBC should do that. They should’ve just left the song. It’s played out.
