Top Journalist with Sky Sports, Kaveh Solhekol confirmed the news on his official X account on Sunday, May 26, 2024. According to him, the board at Chelsea have placed the final shortlist of coaches that could be at the club’s dugout next season as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino.

According to Kaveh, Roberto De Zerbi ( Brighton), Thomas Frank ( Brentford), and Enzo Maresca ( Leicester City). Any of these three managers could be in charge of the Blues because they fit the direction that the club wants to go into the new football season.

The board at the club is looking for a manager who is a dynamic, forward-thinking and progressive coach who fits in with the club’s ideology and who has experience coaching English football at a high level.
Chelsea co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart have been working round the clock to get a final shortlist of managers for the club. However, the final decision on the new head coach will be made by the Chelsea ownership group, which includes co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly.
