Simisola Kosoko – “Stranger” (Simi)

Fuayefika Maxwell, better known as Wizard Chan, enters the 2024 Songwriter of the Year race with his track “Stages of Life.” Released as part of his album The Messenger, the song explores the various phases of human existence with a soulful and reflective approach. Wizard Chan, who gained recognition with his hit “Earth Song,” continues to push boundaries with his innovative blend of Afrobeat and hip-hop, and this nomination underscores his growth and versatility as an artist.
