Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reportedly unfollowed actress and activist Iyabo Ojo on Instagram.
This is following a fresh controversy involving social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman.
The drama unfolded after Verydarkman posted a screenshot of a message allegedly sent by Iyabo Ojo in the now-infamous WhatsApp group chat where several celebrities had united to seek justice for the late singer Mohbad. The content of the leaked message sparked public outrage, with many critics slamming the actress for her comments.
In what appears to be a swift reaction, Davido, who had previously shown solidarity with the Justice for Mohbad movement, unfollowed Iyabo Ojo on Instagram. A quick check on their social media activity confirmed the development, with Davido no longer appearing on the actress’s followers list.
Interestingly, Iyabo Ojo, fondly referred to as “Queen Mother” by fans and supporters, still follows the Unavailable crooner as of the time of this report.
