Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to his club side Leicester City being promoted to the premier league ahead of next season.

Although uncertainty about his future at Leicester City has continued to surface, Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to his side securing a promotion to the Premier League ahead of the 2024/2025 club football season. Leicester City’s football fans have a lot to celebrate as their team secured a return to the Premier League on Friday night.

The Foxes’ promotion was confirmed after Leeds United’s crushing defeat to Queens Park Rangers, which ended with a 4-0 scoreline in favour of the latter. This result means that Leicester City is now guaranteed to finish in the top two positions in the Sky Bet Championship and secure their place in the top tier of English football next season. However, the Foxes still have work to do to clinch the Championship title. They will need to win more games in the remaining fixtures to secure the coveted trophy.

Fans were however not the only ones excited by the news as Wilfred Ndidi took to his social media platform to celebrate the qualification as well in a post that read, “Congratulations to me, the boys, the staff, the club and the amazing fans.. 2 more to go!!! We back!!“
