Former Chelsea and Arsenal player, Willian has completed his return to Fulham Football Club as a free agent until the end of the 2024/25 football season.
The London club confirmed the move of the Brazilian as a free agent on its official website on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Willian had initially joined Fulham from 2022-2024 and has rejoined as a free agent after leaving Olympiakos at the end of December.
What did Willian say about his return to Fulham?
“I am completely happy, my family’s happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season, so I can’t wait to start with my team-mates and do good things inside the pitch.”
The Brazilian had 67 appearances in his first spell at Fulham having scored 10 goals and providing seven assists. He left for Greece to join Olympiakos in September 2024 but lasted just three months.
He has 317 appearances in the Premier League which were shared among London clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham winning two league titles with the Blues. Fulham supporters will most likely see Willian when they face Wigan away from home in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
