The night also celebrated the fashion industry’s brightest stars, with Irish-born designer Jonathan Anderson winning the coveted Designer of the Year award for the second consecutive year. Celebrities like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were also in attendance, with Rocky taking home the Cultural Innovator award.
Wizkid, born Ayodeji Balogun, first gained major recognition in 2011 with the release of his debut album, Superstar. Since then, he has released five additional albums, including Ayo (2014), Sound From The Other Side (2017), Made In Lagos (2020), More Love, Less Ego (2022), and Morayo (2024).
