Award-winning artist Wizkid has earned a nomination for Best International Male Artist at the SEC Awards. He was nominated alongside Bad Bunny, Jung Kook, The Weekend, Travis Scott, Jimin, Troye Sivan, and Zayn. The SEC Awards is an award for honoring filmmakers and musicians in Brazil. In 2023 Jung Kook won the International Male Artist. Voting begins on April 26, 2024.

In addition to his nomination Wizkid recently performed his hit single Essence with Tems and Justin Beiber at 2024 Coachella. Fans had been thrilled with the experience on the second day of Coachella 2024, as they had been surprised by the unexpected addition on stage. This was Justin Bieber’s first performance in 2024 as well as that of Wizkid on a major stage in the US as well. Wizkid was also spotted with Justin Bieber in the recording studio on April 18, 2024.
