Wizkid’s latest single, “Piece of My Heart,” featuring Brent Faiyaz, has quickly made waves since its release on October 18, 2024, achieving remarkable success across streaming platforms and setting new records.

The R&B track has garnered an impressive 1.20 million streams on YouTube Nigeria, making it the song with the biggest weekly streams on the platform. This milestone surpasses the previous record of 1.18 million streams held by Fireboy DML’s “Peru” remix featuring Ed Sheeran.

Adding to its accolades, “Piece of My Heart” also broke the record for the highest opening day streams on Spotify Nigeria, overtaking the record he previously shared with Asake’s “MMS.” Notably, it became the first song from any African artist to achieve over 1 million opening day streams on Spotify.
