Hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his former bodyguard drugged, bound, and violently raped a woman in 2001, in a vicious attack he filmed and showed to friends, a bombshell new lawsuit against Diddy claims.

Lawsuit Against Diddy

In court papers filed Tuesday, September 24, Graves accused Combs and his former bodyguard Joseph Sherman of “mercilessly raping” her inside the Bad Boy Records studio in Manhattan. The two men allegedly lured Graves, who was 25 at the time and dating one of Combs’ employees, into the studio where they gave her a drink “likely laced with a drug” that caused her to briefly lose consciousness, according to the lawsuit against Diddy.

Graves claims she woke up to find herself “bound and restrained” by Combs and Sherman, who ignored her cries for help while they “mercilessly” raped her, the court papers state. Graves, who now lives in Texas, never reported the depraved attack to police out of fear that Combs would use his power as a hip-hop industry kingmaker to “ruin her life,” says the lawsuit against Diddy, which was filed in Manhattan federal court.

However, she decided to go public with her claim soon after Combs’ Sept. 16 arrest on federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, as mentioned in the lawsuit against Diddy. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges that he served as the ruthless kingpin of a criminal empire that abused women for decades — including by forcing them to have sex with male prostitutes that he called “Freak Offs.”

In other related news, Diddy’s children are reportedly reeling from shock after their father’s recent arrest and indictment. The 54-year-old music icon was arrested on September 16, facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. Despite pleading not guilty, Diddy has been denied bail twice, leaving his children in a state of crisis.

Diddy's Children

According to sources close to the situation, Diddy has managed to have brief phone conversations with his children while in jail. “He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being,” the insider revealed, adding that two of his three minor children now have no living parent present due to his incarceration.

Diddy shares Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila with the late Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. Quincy, Porter’s son with Al B. Sure!, was adopted by Diddy, while Justin is his son with stylist Misa Hylton, and Chance is the daughter of Sarah Chapman. Diddy’s youngest child, Love, was born in October 2022 to Dana Tran.

A second source expressed the emotional toll the arrest has taken on Diddy’s children, stating, “It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in. To them, he’s not Diddy—he’s Dad.”

The federal case against Diddy paints a grim picture of long orchestrated sex parties, referred to as “Freak Offs,” where women were coerced into participating, sometimes for days on end. These disturbing events were reportedly filmed without the women’s consent, and drugs like cocaine, ketamine, and oxycodone were allegedly used to manipulate the victims.

Despite these allegations, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, proposed a $50 million bail package, which was rejected by the court. Agnifilo remarked that Diddy is receiving “treatment and therapy for things that most respectfully he needs treatment and therapy for,” though he did not specify the nature of the treatment.

As the lawsuit against Diddy and the federal charges unfold, Diddy’s attorney remains confident in their defense, stating, “He’s going to fight this with all of his energy and all of his might… I expect a long battle with a good result for Mr. Combs.” The next hearing is scheduled for October 9.
