VJ Adams asked: “What are the physical qualities you notice first in a man?”

Yemi Alade replied: “I think beards are good. It would be definitely the eyes, the composure, the height and then eventually what comes out of that mouth. Funny is good but not a clown. There’s a tiny line there.

“I would say someone who is modest. There isn’t too much of braggadociousness but there’s also the let them know vibe. I don’t like people that brag.”

Meanwhile, Yemi Alade recently took to social media to promote her sixth studio album Rebel Queen while simultaneously advocating for a better the government. The ‘Johnny’ singer took to Instagram to express her opinion that everyone deserves a better standard of living and the ability to afford basic amenities such as food, water, and electricity.

“Dem-don_crazy or Democracy? We all deserve better standards of living and the means to afford basic amenities of life… Food, water, electricity, etc.,” she wrote.

Yemi Alade’s post comes as Nigerians took to the streets to demand better government. The 10-day nationwide protest against hunger and bad government began on Thursday, with violence breaking out in various parts of northern Nigeria.

In other news, Nigerian gospel artist Tope Alabi talked about the rivalries in the gospel music industry. She spoke at the “Celebrating Jesus 7.0” concert in Ibadan. Tope Alabi raised concerns about issues like jealousy, competition, and dishonesty among gospel singers. She called for more unity and support, particularly between established artists and newcomers.

In her heartfelt speech, Tope Alabi urged her colleagues to think about their choices and what truly matters. She emphasized that their legacy and responsibility to God should be more important than their fame and achievements. Tope Alabi’s message started a discussion about the values and practices in the gospel music industry.
