Kizz Daniel has hit back at an initial comment made by Tekno about the amount of money he received from the ‘Buga’ collaboration.
Award-winning singer and performer Kizz Daniel following his previous comment to a social media troll amidst the Wizkid and Don Jazzy controversy has hit back at Tekno following his previous statement of Kizz Daniel not having enough money (royalties) to pay as much as one billion naira for their collaboration, ‘Buga.’
On Sunday, April 14, 2024, there was a rumour circulating on social media platform X which has now been deleted. The rumour claimed that Kizz Daniel paid Tekno royalties worth over one billion naira for their work on a popular song and that Tekno received 50% of the song’s revenue.
However, Tekno denied these claims and expressed his frustration with the spread of false information. He wrote, “His money doesn’t reach that level. Anyone who put out that fake interview, may thunder fire their mother…#Talkingshit.”
This prompted a direct response from Kizz Daniel which read, “Dem mention money you sef dey talk… spewing shit like anus see ekuke way we rescue with BUGA !! Oloribu omo ale”
